During Spring 2024, my club, Cubed Creatives, ran a 10-week mentorship program pairing Graphic Design students with Ball State alumni based on interests and specialties. I was paired with Grace Ramsey, Digital Design Manager for the Seattle Seahawks. We explored sports design, typography, portfolio building, and more. Grace challenged me to create a graphic for my favorite Chicago Cubs player, Dansby Swanson, providing feedback that helped refine my design and deepen my understanding of sports graphics.
